Dramatic Dogs are a garage rock band from Hafnarfjordur, Iceland, formed in 2013. There was a void in the Icelandic indie scene, and then Dramatic Dogs popped up. They completely broke down the barriers between a band and fans. They had this thing that anybody could be a Dramatic Dog, didn't matter if they were in the band or not. The indie four-piece prized big, shiny, catchy hooks, as well as the glamour of mainstream pop stardom and the sense that they were creating the soundtrack to the lives of a new generation of Icelandic youth. They're all for cigarettes and alcohol, a bit of coke, some pills and having it till 7 o'clock in the morning.
