Artist Detailed Info: Da Lemurs

Da Lemurs is a "rap" group based in Ann Arbor, MI. Formed by five freshman girls in high school, this band has one album out, with the single "We Da Lemurs". The group uses GarageBand, though all of the members are or were involved in band and/or choir or some other musical endeavor. Da Lemurs have strong and important messages in their lyrics and like to take part in impromptu a capella jam sessions with their friends. Though pretty much disbanded, Da Lemurs have countless plans and ideas for future songs, albums and music videos. Influences include: The Beatles, Ben Folds (Five), Talking Heads, Regina Spektor, The Hush Sound, The Shins, etc.
