Complete Distortion is a metalband from Schiedam, The Netherlands. It's founded by drummer Jay Doubleyou and lead guitarist Rabin Miguel.
The band has gone through a few genre-changes and quite a lot of line-up changes.

PROBLEMS WITH GETTIN' STARTED
Founded in may 2010 the metalcore band Complete Distortion, largely influenced by bands such as Bullet For My Valentine and Killswitch Engage, worked on songs for their first album Against the Stream.
The original line-up was: Jovan Trenidad (lead vocals), Rabin Miguel (lead guitar), Joeri Soltveit (rhythm guitar), Lev Rose (bass) and Jay Doubleyou (drums)
The music was mostly written by the Lead Guitarist Rabin Miguel and the words by Jay Doubleyou, the drummer. As mentioned before, the band went through a lot of line-up changes in the beginning. As Jovan has been replaced by Bob van Eisden, Joeri by Jasper Schmitt and later by Danny ''White Demon'' Lampers and Lev Rose had been temporarily replaced by Damien Eiff and later Jeroen de Koster, but has come back again.
In that period of time, Rabin, with Jay's help, has written quite a lot of songs but as some of you might know, the taste develops with the skill. So Rabin and Bob have outgrown metalcore, and Lev Rose's never really been into it.
Therefore they decided to throw away all old songs (except for the 3 latest) and start all over again, this time as a melodic deathmetal band largely influenced by (melodic) death/thrashbands such as Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy, Metallica, Devildriver, Lamb of God, Pantera, Death Angel, Nightwish, Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold and System of a Down.
Right now, the age of the members varies between 15 and 19 years old with Rabin being the youngest and Robin the oldest.
In may of 2011 Danny was replaced by Robin Christ (ex-What What In the Bodybag?), a guitarist more into technical deathmetal. Now that the band had two guitarists with the same goals, the band could really start. Since Robin and Rabin's skills are pretty close to each other they decided, just like Slayer for example, to both do the lead. No Lead/Rhythm shit anymore, just 2 guitarists...
In june of that same year, after a lot of disagreements Lev Rose was fired.
The new bassplayer is Lauren, Robin's girlfriend who happens to play bass guitar!

The band is now, unlike first, taking it easy by not trying too hard and just go jammin' around 'til they got some really cool songs.
The coolest will appear on their album Against the Stream.
