
Colorepsia are a alternative rock band from Santiago, Chile. The band consists of Rodrigo Subiabre (drums and vocals), Javier Vargas (guitars), Daniel Lobo (bass and vocals), and Ignacio Butte (guitar and vocals). The band is characterized by its deep sonority. "Bajan" (2012) and "Pantano Surf" (2014) are his two works, full of psychedelic songs.
As expressed by the same band, the creative engine of his songs is introspection.

The content of his lyrics try to explore the most diverse states of mind and the emotions, sometimes in simple way, and another times in a complex way. These lyrics also mention the valuable beauty of some situations, which often tend to go unnoticed in everyday activity.
In "Bajan" released in early 2012, the band presents six songs. The first track is a semi-instrumental song called "La partida" (The Beggining), another highlighted is a fully melancholy song called "Mejor que esperar" (Better than Waiting) and "Colorepsia". In this album, Colorepsia shows a quiet and introspective rock music, away from any pop music. For the cover art of "Bajan", the band used "Niño y Dirigible" (Child And Airship), painting by the artist Juan Martínez Bengoechea.
After almost a year of creative exploration, in September 2014 the band make the release of "Pantano Surf" album, with 9 songs. In this, in addition to their traditional sound, the band incorporating latin and amazonic rhythms, which aims to drag the listener into the deepest places of his (her) mind.
In late 2014, the band stops its activities indefinitely. New live performances or new recordings are not been sighted in any social network of the band. Due to the lack of an official statement on his break, left open the likelihood that the band back into activity in the future.
