There are at least two artists who share this name: 1) Chromes is the solo moniker used by Chris Wolstenholme to release his own material. The name is presumably a partial anagram of his name. The first two songs under this name, The Good Life and Imaginary World, were released on 9 August 2024, as a double A-side.

2) CHROMES was a London-based post-hardcore band (2011-2013), featuring Antoine Mansion (drums/vocals) and Syd Scarlet (aka AMNPTN, guitar/vocals). They released one EP, And Here My Disgust Begins, before ultimately disbanding in 2013.
