Artist Detailed Info: Castration Rite

A noise/punk/grindcore band formed in Baltimore, Maryland in 2013 by Brad Cook, who also plays guitar and does vocals for the Baltimore based punk/grindcore/powerviolence band Sleep Disorder. The songs rarely reach a minute in length and follow the likes of old Pig Destroyer, Penis Geyser, Sete Star Sept, and Anal Cunt.

Brad has released a new album almost every month since starting the project in August, starting with Untitled, followed by No Music Only Noise and Bienz in September, and a live album featuring brother, Ryan Cook (percussion), entitled Jay-Z Ain't Got Nothin' On This, released in November of 2013.
