ABHINANDA is Straight Edge Hardcore band from Umeå, Sweden.

ABHINANDA debuted with a 1993 EP 'Darkness Of Ignorance' through the Desperate Fight label, the custom imprint of singer José Saxlund. The band, with the newly recruited guitarist Kristofer Steen, undertook a winter tour of Norway, in alliance with REFUSED. Full-length album 'Senseless' followed in December 1994, promoted by a European tour. Once these dates were complete Kristofer Steen opted out to join REFUSED. Somewhat ironically, ABHINANDA drafted Pär, as substitute, also holding REFUSED credits. This version of the band cut another EP, 'Neverending Well Of Bliss' in 1995. US label Victory Records gave 'Senseless' a North American release during June 1997.
