5K HD is an Austrian avant‑garde pop collective formed around vocalist Mira Lu Kovacs and the instrumental trio known as Kompost 3 (Martin Eberle, Benny Omerzell, Manu Mayr, later joined by Andreas Lettner).

The band’s first album And to in A, released in 2017, received strong praise from the Austrian press, though it did not chart. Their follow-up album High Performer was released in 2019.

In 2018 they were nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards (Jazz/World/Blues category) and the FM4 Award, and their track “Happy Fxxxing Life” topped FM4’s year‑end chart in 2020.
