Artist Info: Yuji Takeda

It has been said of this release by someone on prescription medication recovering from an illness “this is not music for someone suffering from side effects.”

Each of the works in this collection is an excerpt of improvisations with Takeda's personal Max/MSP patch recorded live in the spring of 2008. Over 15 days, improvisations were done using the patch to manipulate music previously recorded by Takeda.

The resulting sound was frequently very noisy but sometimes minimal. [read more...]
