Turnip King is an American indie-rock/psych-punk band hailing from Long Island, New York. Formed in 2011 by Lucia Arias (guitar/vocals/songwriting), Christian Billard (drums, songwriting), Cal Fish (guitar, vocals, songwriting) and Nick Kivlen (bass). Within the first few months, they stablished a name for themselves in the underground Brooklyn music scene. Inspired by early 90's indie rock, vaporware, krautrock, and prog rock bands.
