Artist Info: Timber Timbre

Timber Timbre was a Canadian band featuring Taylor Kirk (died in April 2026). The moniker refers to an early series of recordings made in a timber-framed cabin set in the wooded outskirts of Bobcaygeon, Ontario.

Timber Timbre was started as a solo project by Taylor Kirk in 2005. Two albums were released independently before the self-titled album was released on Out of This Spark in January 2009. Subsequently signed to Arts & Crafts, the self-titled album was re-released on 30 June in Canada and 28 July internationally. [read more...]
