Artist Info: Thing One

I caught this band at a Crashin In Party at Galapagos back in September and I was simply blown away. I proceeded to buy their most recent EP "Ridiculous Speed" on Itunes. This is an interesting band, they started as a hip hop group some years ago and have progressed into a much more mature sound, incoporating complex harmonies with a melancholy sense of words. More of an electronic rock vibe intertwining Flaming Lips, Beach Boys and Steely Dan influences. [read more...]
