Thin Green Candles are an strange electronic/avant-garde/dance collective from Oxford, England.

TGC started out in 2008 as a solo project by Fred Toon who had been a follower of the local music scene for some years. To convert the sound to a live setting Fred enlisted the help of Joe Chapman from fellow Oxford band Spiral 25 on drums plus local musicians Leigh Alexander & James Serjeant from Beaver Fuel and Drunkenstein on bass guitar and guitar.
