Artist Info: The Skidmarks

The Skidmarks were a sixties-style garage/beat/punk band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Band members were Jeroen Mesker (vocals), Sander Borst (guitar, vocals), Maarten van Essen (a.k.a. 'Jim Pacobs'; guitar, organ, vocals), Ernst 'Ernie' Jonkman (bass) and Peter 'Fat Pete' van Rijn (drums).

Founded in 1995 at Amsterdam University, the energetic, sharply dressed Skidmarks had already created a solid live reputation for themselves in the Dutch underground scene when they released their début album Come And Get It! in 2002. [read more...]
