Based in Sheffield, The Sappers make choral Rickenbacker pop, full of harmonies and broken hearts. Their debut album Sheffield was released in 2016. While it's an aural tour of the eponymous city in South Yorkshire, it also captures universal feelings of dread, loss and longing.
