Artist Info: The Deadcats

The DeadCats began in Vancouver in 1994.

The original line-up included Beef (drums), Mike Dennis (guitar), Scooter Johnson (bucket), & Gord Smithers (lead guitar). They've released 6 CDs, mostly on Flying Saucer Records and have appeared on numerous compilation discs.

Deadcats play old-school Psychobilly influenced by the Meteors, the Cramps, Link Wray and Dick Dale. They do several Garage-Punk and Surf-Instro numbers.
