Artist Info: The Animist

The Animist was founded in late 2018 by drummer Jason Drossis (ex- Ellipsis, Transcend the Skies) and guitarist Evan Holly (Behaviour), in an endeavour to create a unique intersection of metal. Combining complex and technical compositions interlaced with fast tempos, low tunings, and a progressive nature, they strive to create music that is as equally hook-laden and catchy as it is aggressive in nature.
