Surgeon is a 4 piece hard rock/metal band from Philadelphia. The band has been described as “visceral, nihilistic beautifully-executed prog-metal that’s all about “intensity and attitude“*. Black Sabbath , Rush , System of a Down, and the Melvins are all recognized as influences of the band in the sound that makes up Surgeon.

Surgeon is currently working on their new record. A sneak preview was aired on 93.3 WMMR for the whole month of June. The full length album is expected to be released this winter along with a video and a tour. [read more...]
