His musical journey started when his father gave him some headphones and a couple of Jimi Hendrix and Frank Zappa cassettes. Many hours were spent listening to these tapes in sheer awe of the musicality. As a teenager living in a town which was known for smelling of biscuits, he would escape by going for walks listening to underground radio stations on his FM walkman.
