Straight Eight are a power rock/pop band originally formed in 1976 and subsequently signed to The Who's Pete Townshend for publishing and recording. The band enjoyed success for five years touring Europe with bands including Queen, Robert Palmer, Slade and various others. They disbanded in 1983 after their 3rd album failed to gain release in the USA. They have now reformed and recorded a new album, 'New Guitar' due for release in 2015. [read more...]
