Artist Info: Stefano Testa

Born Oct. 23, 1949 (Rome, Italy)
At the age of 17 he began playing and writing with the beat group Gli Scorpioni. In the 1970s, influenced by bands and people such as Genesis, Tull, D'Andre, and Sorrenti, he was driven to continue his musical journey. First came collaboration with the acoustic group Portici Trio.

Then in 1977 came the release of the progressive gem "Una Vita Una Balena Bianca e Altre Cose". This fantastic acoustic progressive work is a concept album on moments in the life of writer Cesare Pavese. [read more...]
