Artist Info: Sopa De Cabra

Sopa de Cabra was a successful Catalan rock band of the 90s and early 2000s. Formed in 1986 in Girona, they are considered, together with Sau (pop), Els Pets (pop-rock) and Sangtrait (metal), the founders of the "Rock Català" movement. Sopa's lead singer/lyrics Gerard Quintana and lead guitar/lyrics Josep Thió have paralleled solo successful careers.

In 1991, in the height of their popularity, they recorded a double LP, part of it live: "Ben Endins" (Deep Inside), which became a platinum disc in 2000. [read more...]
