SNH48 (Short for Shanghai48) is a Chinese Idol Group and was formerly the 2nd international sister group of AKB48. The group has their own theater in Shanghai, China. The 1st generation members were announced in October, 2012.

In June 2016, SNH48 and its sister groups parted ways with AKB48's groups.
