Artist Info: Roberta Pili

Roberta Pili was born in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, and comes from a musical family background. She had her first piano lesson at the age of five with her father, a musician and piano teacher. At the age of eight she won three first prizes at national youth piano competitions. At the age of eleven she began her studies at the music conservatory of her hometown with Angela Pintor, a student of Lodovico Lessona, who was one of the best pupils of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli.
