Artist Info: Rene Katz

Rene Katz ( which is a pseudonym ) was born in Central Europe in 1974 and there he grew up. Early in his childhood he felt ambitions for sound experiments on the piano which led as a result to his contemporary improvising style. This style is influenced by a classical orientated education on the piano which lasted seven years, on from age 12 until age 19. Since 1996 he records improvisations on pianos with tape recorders and uses electric pianos. [read more...]
