Artist Info: Rakketax

Rakketax was a Dutch post-punk band that was active in the years 1979-1983 from the Utrecht area of the Netherlands. The songs were minimalist, the tempo was usually high and the vocals were fierce, but there was also room for melodies and unusual song structures.

The band consisted of Jeroen Dunselman (vocals, bass, drums), Harry Haakman (vocals, bass, drums) and Niels de Hoog (guitar). There was frequent performance in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. [read more...]
