Puriden is a punk rock band based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Made up of songwriter/guitarist Matthew Gilroy, drummer Dan Huppman (ex-Robins), guitarist Louis Weil (ex-Sic Bacchus) and bassist Philippe LeSaux (ex-All Torn Up!). Their releases include 3 EPs and a full-length LP

Car Troubles was written from 2013-2016, recorded in July 2016 and released on May 8th, 2018 on bandcamp. Equal parts pop-punk, emo, and something darkly weary, the EP is a grab-bag of catching melodies and powerfully colorful lyricism. [read more...]
