Prashant Tamang was born in Tungsung, Darjeeling, West Bengal (India) to Rupa Tamang and the late Madan Tamang. He is an Indian singer. He is mostly recognised as an Indian Idol (Indian version of popular musical show American Idol) and winner of season 3 of the competition. Prashant's services as a Kolkata Police.
