Artist Info: One Day Fly

"One Day Fly" was the name of a Dutch temporary formation from 2001, formed by the creators of the television program "Kopspijkers." The group released the single "I wanna be a one day fly," which became a hit. The project was a parody of and protest against the then-famous television program "Starmaker." The name is broken English for the Dutch term "eendagsvlieg"; the correct English translation for a one-time hit is "One-Hit Wonder," and the insect is called a "mayfly." [read more...]
