novö is a french music band mixing electronica, indie pop, and french spoken words. It was formed in 2000 in Toulouse (south of France), by Jean Michel Chabrel and Jérémie Guiochet, and is influenced by pop, post-rock, disco, electro, punk, and Harmony Korine movies. After several EP, novö released its first LP, "je retiens ton souffle" ("I hold your breath"), on the French label Monopsone (distributed by Green Ufos in Spain, and Cod&S in Belgium). [read more...]
