Mikoto was a post-hardcore band from Orange County/Santa Ana, California, United States. They formed in 2004 and their last release was in 2010.

With a desire to create music that was both fun and inspiring, Mikoto was begun. In 2004 they released their EP The End Of The Beginning, toured a lot, then coming out with their self-titled 5 song EP in 2005 on Level Plane Records, that was the start of Mikoto's adventure.
