Michael Waugh grew up as a fan of Patsy Cline and Tammy Wynette in rural Australia. Country and folk-inspired torch songs are Michael's thing. Michael's guitar and vocals are supported by violinst Emma Rodda and Drummer Fred Abery.

Michael has won numerous songwriting awards including the Song of Peace and Tolerance (Port Fairy Folk Festival) and the Rudy Brandsma Award for Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting (Australian Songwriters Association). [read more...]
