Artist Info: Mechagodzilla

Mechagodzilla was formed in 1997 by young people aiming to make an horrific noise for a bit of a laugh. Their main influences were people unconvincingly dressed as monsters and loud fast things.

Over the years very little has changed, apart from the line-up and some grey hairs. Mechagodzilla tread the fine line between inspired art, and a celebration of stupidity - more often than not the line becomes quite blurred, which is all part of the idea. [read more...]
