Melbourne 9 piece Latin/Reggae band, Madre Monte, play the deep, spellbinding
grooves of Colombia in an Australian setting, allowing Australian audiences to get
a taste of these captivating sounds.

The band was born in 2008
when Colombians Mauro Gomez and Henry Peña felt a great need to play and
represent their native Colombian sounds and rhythms in Australia.
