Artist Info: Lord John

Lord John was an American Bomp! Records band in the late 1980s. Their sound has been compared to that of Echo & The Bunnymen, yet with enough psychedelia in the mix to often have them touted as part of the then emerging paisley underground movement, which was gaining momentum on both the West Coast, as well in the New York underground. Their debut album "Six Days of Sound" (1986) was praised by critics [1]. The album was also released in Greece on the Hitch Hyke label where it sold surprisingly well. [read more...]
