London PX were a punk band formed in 1979 in North London. Cliff Hanger (the singer) was discovered in the George Robey pub in Finsbury Park standing on the pool table singing Angelic Upstarts songs. Some gigs followed and their first single "Orders" was released in the summer of 1981, reaching No.10 in the Melody Maker independent charts.
