1. Lachryma was formed in the summer of 2008 by vocalist Melkor Grimm. The band was greatly influenced by Paganism and Nature, striving to create a more 'untainted' form of black metal music - following in the footsteps of Burzum, Nokturnal Mortum, and early Bathory.
