Artist Info: Kari Kari

Ballet Kari Kari was founded in 1997 by its actual leader, Lynn Rapu.

He gathered musicians and young people who wanted to dance. He made his proyect and funded grants to purchase the instruments and make a recopilation of historic songs .

The group consolidated as time passed by, since the young artists who wanted to participate had to undercome strict discipline rules. Many abandoned, but more would come in, and actually many of them still are in the group as musicians or dancers. [read more...]
