1.) Junk DNA was formed long before the band were named. The brainchild of guitarist Iqbal Birdi (also of the No Sorrows) the two, then three, members met at school in West London in the mid-eighties. Influenced by the rising Indie scene of the time and acts like: Lloyd Cole, The Police, The Smiths; the founder members spent every spare moment avoiding their songwriting destiny.
