Artist Info: Jo Blankenburg

Jo was born and raised in Munich, Germany. At the age of six he started playing the organ, piano and drums. Even though playing existing music was how he started out, it soon became clear he wanted to create his own music. Music that is boundless and allowed him to express himself freely. Not having to adhere to rules and structure fascinated him most. While music can be strongly based in theory, Jo always trusted his instincts and strong sense for a certain sound aesthetic to craft something unique and timeless. [read more...]
