Artist Info: Jahquest

JahQuest has coined the term “Brazilian Reggae” to describe their unique blend of Brazilian styles such as Samba, Baiao, Capoeira and Afoxe’ with the traditional roots reggae of the late seventies. JahQuest was officially founded in 2002, however the first CD was released June 2007. Their songs are in English and Portuguese and their sound in comparison to other bands ranges from Third World, Steel Pulse to Brazilian groups O Rappa and Chico Science. [read more...]
