JahOfYork, is true vocalist at heart and was born and raised in The Bronx, New York City. He's influenced by greats like:

Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Sting, Notorious BIG, Michael Jackson and newer movements like J*Davey, Eric Roberson, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Ryan Leslie.

He began nurturing his gift of singing at the age of 12 on the 24th floor of a middle-class co-op apartment. Through dedication and perseverance he developed constructive vocals and lyrics to fill our ears with bold, soothing soul-sounds. [read more...]
