Jadiid (jah-deed) is a band. They live in Chicago.
“We started listening to Bill Withers, to Al Green, some Charles Wright, even some Slow Train Coming era Dylan. They kept getting these sounds that didn’t seem rushed or forced, yet energized with well worn color and rythym. These sounds were somehow down home and urban, direct and dry, yet incredibly lush” This was the start of the transformation for the band Jadiid (jah-deed).
