Artist Info: Ishotpunk

iShotPunk is an internet music project of composers/songwriters Dani Zuniga and Simar Bal.

The name "iShotPunk" comes from Dani's early college days. Being a long time hometown (San Diego) fan of Blink 182, classmates at UC Santa Cruz would say "Punk is dead because bands like Blink 182 and Green Day". The spaces in the phrase "I Shot Punk" were removed as a nod to Dani and Simar's videogame industry roots where CamelCase is used in many naming conventions . [read more...]
