Ibaraki is a black metal project led by Matthew Kiichi Heafy, the guitarist and lead vocalist for Trivium and vocalist for Capharnaum. Ibaraki's debut album, Rashomon, was released on May 6, 2022 and features Nergal of Behemoth, Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance, and Ihsahn of Emperor, who also contributed to the production of the album.
