Artist Info: Human Audio Sponge

The band Sketch Show was led by Yukihiro Takahashi (Yukihiro Takahashi) and Haruomi Hosono (Haruomi Hosono). Human Audio Sponge (HAS) is the name Sketch Show called themselves when Ryuichi Sakamoto (Ryuichi Sakamoto) joined them at concerts. This name was used through the early 2000s until 2007 when YMO reformed under the formal name of HASYMO. The reformation included a commercial project with Kirin Lager that corresponded with the release of an updated version of the YMO song Rydeen, titled "Rydeen 79/07". [read more...]
