Artist Info: Groovestar

Groovestar is the club side-alias produced by Gavin Brown of Stargame. Whereas Stargame is based more around trance, Groovestar is based more around all-out dance music of the chopped-and-sliced variety, similar to (and heavily inspired by) Justice and Daft Punk.

Started roughly around the end of March of '09, Groovestar was created shortly after the birthday of one of Gavin's best friends, who had turned sixteen at the time. Living several states away, Gavin was unable to be there or give any gifts. [read more...]
