Artist Info: Goodbye Tonic

Goodbye Tonic, also known as GT, is a shitcore band that was formed in Kaunas, Lithuania in 1996. The name of the group is very similar to Hello Phonic, referring to a post-shitfolk band from the same area, formed in 1944 as a political statement against national socialism.

The band first used this name in concert at the open mic ironic poetry nights in 1998, referring to the forest-core album "Lost in the woods with a dragon dildo" by MC Ride [citation needed]. [read more...]
