Derrick "EMPIRE X" Murph, Was born in Sarasota FL. where he was raised into a family of musicians and music producers by a Mother well known for her talents as a singer. Derrick began making music at an early age where he gathered pencils and cans and beat away to make the rhythmic sounds of drums. At the age of 15 he was putting on live shows for young audiences rapping and rhyming lyrics at venues with a group of teenage performers called The Last Boyscouts. [read more...]
