Artist Info: Elephant Vs Leopard

Elephant vs Leopard was formed during a particularly horrible summer in 2006 in the back room of a shed on a farm near Peterborough by Sam Warren (bass) and Mike Freedman (drums).

The intention was to strip away the artifice and self- conscious musicianship of previous projects, focusing instead on simply playing as honestly and loudly as possible.

Spike (vocals) joined the band at the end of 2007 and the three-piece began putting the finishing touches to their debut release, Safariland. [read more...]
